A Taste of Woodworking

Are you curious about woodworking but not ready to commit? Do you know someone who has talked about it but not done it, or just need a great gift idea?

We have developed this course for people who just want to try out some woodworking.

It is quick and simple and you walk away with a quality product that you can use at home.

Over two separate classes you will complete and take home a tasting board made from solid timber.

Designed to provide you with some basic woodworking skills, this course will cover:

  • timber selection

  • template use, measuring and marking out

  • machining timber

  • gluing and clamping

  • cutting and shaping

  • sanding and oiling

A Taste of Woodworking is 2 x 3 hour classes over two consecutive Saturdays.

Classes are limited to 5 students.

Gift Certificates are available.

NOTE - The workshop, equipment and environment is not set up for children. Therefore, the minimum age to participate in a course is 18 years old.
